About RoaringShifts

RoaringShifts is where car people find meets. We list car meets, cruises and shows across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, and the RoaringShifts app is where the people who go to them keep their builds, their garages, their clubs and the shops they trust.

What RoaringShifts is

It's two things, built to work together.

  • Meet discovery. Every meet has its own page with the date, the start time, the place on a map, who's hosting, the entry price when there is one, and the rules the host posted. City pages group what's coming up near you, and you can save a meet to get a reminder before it starts.
  • A community app. Members post their cars and builds, log modifications in their garage, join or start clubs, follow each other, and find shops that work on cars like theirs and read what other members say about them.

What's on it right now

Right now there are 1,715 upcoming meets on RoaringShifts in 2 countries, and 196 city pages, each gathering the meets in and around one city. Most of them are in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. These numbers come straight from the listings and update every hour.

Browse them on the car meets by city page or see every upcoming meet. You don't need an account to look.

How meets get listed

Organizers can post their own meets on RoaringShifts, and many do. We also list meets that organizers have announced publicly, on their Instagram pages, event pages and websites, so people can find them in one place. Those listings credit the real organizer by name and link back to where the meet was announced, and we don't sell tickets to them.

Our team reviews the listings and checks the date, the time and the place against the organizer's own post. When a detail isn't confirmed yet, like a location that only drops the day before, the page says so instead of guessing.

Organizers stay in control. On any meet page, under “Are you the host?”, you can ask us to correct the listing, take it down, or hand it over to you so you can edit it yourself. Our Takedown Policy explains how that works and how quickly we aim to act.

Who runs it

RoaringShifts was founded and is run by Victor, a car enthusiast in the Greater Toronto Area. It's independent and based in Ontario, Canada. It started with the Toronto-area scene and has grown from there, one city at a time.

Why it exists

Car meets are hard to find. Most of them are announced in an Instagram story that disappears after a day, a flyer reposted by a page you don't follow, or a group chat you're not in. If you're new to the scene, or new to a city, you mostly hear about the good ones after they happen.

RoaringShifts puts them in one place, with a real date, a real place on the map, and a reminder so you actually make it. Around that we built the things people at meets kept asking for: somewhere to show the car properly, keep track of what's been done to it, find the clubs that drive together, and find a shop worth trusting.

Get the app

Everything here works on the website. The app adds reminders on your phone, your garage, clubs and messages.
